AMRT Members Share Career Experience and Commitment to Community Service With Five Acres Students

Altadena Mountain Rescue Team members paid a visit to Five Acres residential school in Altadena on Thursday, July 29, to talk with students about their careers and their commitment to community service as volunteers on the mountain rescue team.

Addressing about 20 young students aged 8 to 14, each AMRT member shared information about their professions and discussed why they decided to volunteer with the mountain rescue squad.

Following the speaking presentation, students were taken outside so they could explore the mountain rescue vehicles and learn about the various types of mountain rescue equipment.
